Loading the inputimages converted from RAW:

— UVL image for generating the calibration and associated flat-field image (if available).

— UVL to be calibrated (can be the same as above image or another image taken with
the same camera and under the same lighting conditions) and associated flat-field
image (if available).

Converting the images to linear light (XYZ) using the embedded ICC profile(s).

Applying a flat-field correction to the images (if this option is checked).

Applying the camera colour calibration and white-point adjustment to the UVL images.

Image registration: aligning the calibrated VIS image and UVL image.

Mathematically reconstructing the ambient stray radiation:
— From the VIS image and the Spectralon greyscale on the UVL image.

Subtracting the ambient stray radiation from the UVL image.

Correcting for the “pigment-binder” interaction (Kubelka-Munk).

Applying an output ICC profile which converts the calibrated UVL image to sRGB (or
RGB16) colour space.
