There is today a considerable demand of electricity for various
industries, Home consumption, with the increase of television, electric
heating and other appliances should go up substantially. In that pro¬
duction therefore, Allis Chalmers has another ready market.

The new line, of course, and which should provide considerable
expansion, is the electronic field. It should be mentioned here the
far reaching studies made by Allis Chalmers towards the development
of atomic energy for propulsion and power production.

No wonder that in the last five years sales of the Company have

increased from $94 Millions to $ 457 Millions. 4952 will certainly top

this last figure. Backlog of unfilled orders are amounting to over
a year of full production.
