selection for military service will remain in two stages: universal
military service for the local forces; selective service for the

be devided into four regional commands, or military areas. the
so-called field armies will be replaced by 32 Infantery Corps, 19
Cavallery Divisions and 21 Artillery Divisions. ,he armoured forces
will be expanded to three Armoured Army Groups plus three special
Armoured Divisions. furthermore, the establishment of six Yarashoot
Divisions is cont«mplated. hese divisions will mainly be trained
in Manchuria. +he Chinese Air Horce, will be divided into five air
forces and the Navy into four light naval fleets.
