XoAs8s for October 1952,

ADDITIONAL NOTE,

At the moment of sending out this dispatch, we receive
following extremely important complementazy material. It is
contained in two first-hand reports, secured by absolutely
reliable sources in the Easte

The first report gives - among other items - details
on the Asiatie settlements in Bastern Europe, The present

figures are as follows:
1. In the areas, from where German-speaking populations were
expelled - that is the Polish administered territories East of
the Oder-Neisse rivers and the SO-called Smittee Sudete land in
Czecho-Slovakia - as well as in Poland itself$ 630.000 workers
from Asia, mostly Chinese, have been settled down.
2e In the Kaliningrad area, a large-scale similar movement is taking
place. About 100.000 Soviet citizens - mestly from the Tatar
Peoples! Republie and from Kasakstan - have already been deported
from their homeland and are established in that Soviet part of
East Prussia,
3e In Hungary and Romania, the number of Chinese recently settled
amounts to 500,000, These figures have been secured from the
official statisties available at the Ministry for Planification
in those two Peoples? Republics.
From the samé source is reported that a project has been worked
out in Moscow and "discussed" with all the satellites, It contains
an exact plan, covering the period of 1952-1953, During these two
years additional three million Asiatics will have to be settled
in Central and Eastern Europe. The project also foresees the
buklding of new towns and villages for this additional population,
is report proves that the estimates given in this

million has been settled in Hungary and Romania.

The other conclusion - that equally corrobppates with the above
dispatch - is the fact that we are in presence not merely of
a temporary drafting and balancing of labor forces, but of a
carefully planned and large=seale resettlement of entire
populations,

The second report comes from Saxony, in the German
People's Republic. In that entirely German-speakings there was
one small racial island: the Wend population. Slavie in origin,

Quite recent by order of Moscow, this state of affairs has been
fundamentally¥¢ A Wena nationalism was created. The Wend language
was given official status: the names of villages, the official
publications in the area have to be madé’in the two languages. The
Slav belt is pushed further West.
