In the meantime he has travelied through the New England States, along the Eastern Seabord, and is making at present a surveg on the trends below the Masoh-—Dixon line in the Deep Southe -— The great Presidential cumpaign is scheduled to start now in a very few dayse On Labour Day, both Cmdidates will end their busy " vacations " of incessent Conferences, Statements end meetings. The lines are drawn, and they are not likely to change between now and Novembere The first and foremost observation that can be made, is tht during this tine both candidates have been busy to “mend their fences", that is to say to see to it that the widest possible harmony should reign in their respective party.
